Went in for last minute bakery items. Excellent and exceedingly friendly service. The cookies are delicious!

They call themselves a German Bakery but they are not. We went there thinking we'd get some good German-style bread but it's basically just white bread; there's nothing German about it.People working there are very friendly, but we won't be back for baked goods.

A dream come true, if your dream is to have an authentic Swedish Princess Cake (prinsesstårta)! I felt as if I was transported to Sweden. The Princess Cake has a unique green dome made from almond paste, with layers of sponge cake, fruit filling & whipped cream. Thanks for making my birthday so special!!

We used Weinrich's for our 250 person outdoor wedding this month. Had a fabulous experience, seamless communication, on time with delivery, and even delivered personally by Cynthia. We are so grateful to Weinrich's for taking our large order. We did a variety of small sized desserts, a small wedding cake, and even some gluten free desserts. We also got donut holes which added a nice variety to the small treats we had our for our guests. Can't thank Cynthia and her team enough, we had a wonderful experience. They even put the desserts on trays that would fit in our refrigerator just in case it was too hot. Would highly recommend.

Old fashioned hospitality just like years past. Great assortment. Slightly pricey but you get what you pay for. Try the carrot cake cupcakes. Pretzels weren't very flavorful.Vunderbar

I can't believe anyone in their right mind gave this place one star.We recently took a trip to Denmark and I fell in love with smørrebrød. I wanted to make it myself here, but the bread is a hard get. R Weinrich is the closest place to us that has a proper rye bread (rugbrød) for smørrebrød. We also tried some of the pastries there, including the carrot cake, the meringues, and the cookies. Everything is great. It's definitely worth the drive and will be our regular source for bread (and other treats).

This bakery makes the most scrumptious German Chocolate cake, Hamantashen, and cinnamon buns in town. It is family owned and the employees are super friendly and attentive. Thanks for never letting us down!!

I have been a fan of Weinrich's for many years. On Thursday, I stopped in to get either a donut or hammentaschen (I opted for the donut) and saw something I'd never had before, ginger cake. An almost pudding like cake batter with a light crust on the bottom and a thick layer of chocolate frosting on top. A perfect flavor combination.

The Butter Cake is FINOMINAL! A MUST TRY! So delicious! The danish and pastries are excellent as well!

I absolutely love this bakery. I try to go to there each year for my son birthday. As soon as you enter the store the smell of homemade goodness takes over :) I would recommend this bakery to anyone.

Friendly people, lots to choose from; cakes cookies, etc. The reason to really go there is they have the BEST Butter Cake anywhere. You typically have to go to North East Philly, but now those people should drive down here! If you never had Philly German Butter Cake, you need to try it. Spongy Danish pastry on the bottom, with a thick, liquid, gooey icing/topping. It's like nothing else & hard to find. Anyway, awesome bakery!

Been going here for twenty years, at least. Everything from scratch and things you don’t see elsewhere. I special ordered some Lindsor tortes ( need a couple days notice) for thanksgiving and everyone raved about them!!

When a business lasts for decades, there's a reason for that. Besides awesome products (donuts, cookies, cakes - can't go wrong here), the employees are kind, receptive, and helpful. All of them, consistently- rare in today's world. Today, I picked up some cookies for several different graduation parties, for different schools. They thought to use different ribbon on the outside of the boxes, with the respective school's colors, to differentiate the cookies. That attention to detail and personal touch is the sort of little surprise delight that brings customers back year after year.

I only go here to harass Laura. If you ever decide to come in, ask for the chocolate milk, change your mind, and ask for something on the complete opposite side.

Out of town customer, ordered 2 cakes for 2 separate parties, one buttercream, one whip cream with chocolate curls on top, by far 2 of the best cakes ever ordered from anywhere!! Everything there was amazing, cookies are out of this world. Small bakery but highest quality bake goods. Anyone in Philly area, this place is worth the trip for custom cakes.

Just one word... Fantastic !!! We ordered for a custom two tier cake with animal theme for our son’s birthday and we got it done in 4 days...it was just the best cake ever!! no words to appreciate their design and taste. It’s just the best custom cake bakery in the whole of Delaware county ... I appreciate their service and patience in listening customer requirements... Amazing. We got hamentashen and rye bread that was just simply amazing. Staff was very friendly and answered any questions we had.
